He walked straight into the market heading for the stall he last exchanged his gem. He went straight for the stall.
“Hello sir” He politely greeted the shop keeper.
The old man instinctively turned around and his face went white
“It’s you” The man said as he pointed his trembling finger at Roshan’s face.
“I see you have missed me sir” Roshan smiled showing a pair of glistening white teeth and moved the finger of the man slowly out of his direction of sight.
“I brought somethings for you, I would like to sell these” Roshan said with a flick of his hands, the 16 gems appeared.
Forgetting his previous fright, the man looked at the gems carefully and his eyes bulged out.
“le..level 13 and 14???.. how did you get these” The man asked as he silently pressed a button below his desk.
‘What priceless gems. This boy must have stolen them. How would these kid kill all these beasts. I have to contact the authorities. I may even get some of these free of charge when he is arrested. I would be rich’ He laughed in his head as he looked at the boy.
“I hunted down some beast” Roshan shrugged as he answered the man. Unexpectedly the man bursted out laughing.
“hahaha…kid you don’t need to lie to me. I know you stole these and when the guards arrive. You will be arrested” he smiled as he looked at the kid.
Immediately, a group of men rushed out.
“Old John…..you called for an emergency” A sturdy man walked out, from the look of it he was obviously in charge of the group.
The man immediately pointed at the boy
“He’s a thief, arrest him”
Roshan was dumbfounded and his shock was slowly replaced with anger.
“Did this old man think he can fool me and steal my gems” He thought as he silently waited for the captain of the guards to speak.
“Old man John, do you have any proof about the claim” The sturdy man walked closer to the shop.
“Of course, look at these gems how can a young child like him defeat all these beasts. From the strong energy coming from the gems, he recently obtained them all in one day. How is that possible” John said as he folded his arms across his chest giving Roshan a mocking gaze.
‘You duped me of my money last time, I had to pay back’ he thought as he licked his dried up lips.
“Young man, do you anything to say for yourself” The captain said as he eyed Roshan.
“This old man may be telling the truth. This boy looks so weak. How can he defeat that amount of beast”.
Roshan looked at the captain and then at the old man and shrugged
“I hunted them” He again repeated exactly what he told the old man.
“Do you think we are joking here? Tell me the truth” The captain barked at Roshan while the group behind him scoffed at the shameless attitude of the boy.
Roshan’s face went blank immediately. He was indeed telling the truth. Did he look that weak. He raised up his hand to look at it and he frowned. He did look quite pale.
“I am telling the truth. Do I need to prove it?” He said as he looked at the captain.
The captain looked at boy and sneered.
“Yes. I would need you to prove it. How can you explain killing the amount of beast. You must be rather strong then” at the last sentence, he lightly laughed.
Roshan stood there remaining unfazed while the old man could be seen with smiles on his face.
The captain with his eyes still on Roshan barked out “Beast… come out here!!”
Beast??
Roshan thought as the corner of lips slightly lifted up
What kind of name was that?
Immediately a scrawny looking boy walked out of the group with a flustered face.
With his hand rubbing his arm and a flustered face
“Y…yes boss” he trembled with his head down.
This is beast??
Roshan thought as he stared wide eyed at the young boy.
The Old man merely frowned. What joke was this?
“Beast….test this kid’s strength” The captain commanded.
“Yes boss” immediately the timid look on the boy’s face changed into a fierce looking one as he stared directly at Roshan. If he could complete this task, he would be rewarded and maybe he could break through to another level.
Immediately the boy activated his ability and his scrawny limbs started swelling up as muscles directly formed on them. He was getting bigger and bigger. He had gotten to ten times bigger than a human. With each steps a thunderous sound shook the earth and he stared directly at Roshan
“Ohhh…so that’s why they call him Beast” Roshan thought. Roshan immediately felt pressure from that look.

Roshan looked at the information in front of him and he looked at the person in front of him and faintly smiled. It was going to be interesting and tough but he had to prove himself.
Without waiting for the boy to move. He went forward and landed a punch on the giant in his front.
Because he didn’t expect the attack, Beast failed at blocking the attack and he landed right on his back.
Roshan had used all his strength to deliver that single attack and he did it by surprise.
“The bigger they are, the harder they fall” he murmured
The others were taken aback by the attack but the captain quickly regained his sense. Years of experience told him that the attack was given surprisingly.
So he quickly regained his composure.
Roshan knew that his surprise attack wouldn’t work again so without waiting for Beast to get back up. He kept attacking with that all strength punch.
Beast was forced immediately into a defensive position. If he couldn’t get up, there was no way to win this fight.
He was getting beaten to a pulp by Roshan. Roshan knew he couldn’t allow Beast to get back up so he needed to keep him on the floor for now.
The captain quickly called of the match seeing the stalemate between the two.
“Old man John, I believe this boy is strong enough to defeat a few beasts. I believe you won’t trouble us next time” The captain said and his group followed him away from the shop.
The old man was just dumbfounded as he stared at the captain with his jaw dropping.
By the time he woke up from his daze both The captain and Roshan had left.
“Daaaamnn!!! I spoilt my own business” he bellowed as he gripped his head.
Roshan frowned as he walked straight into another shop.
“What a scam” he said as he thought of the old man’s action.
He arrived at another Gem stall and knocked on the door.
A man arrived at the door and ushered him inside.
Why didn’t he come to this place before. It was even more better than that scam’s store.
“Uhmmm….I want to sell these Gems” He talked to the person accompanying him.
“Oh..right this way, sir” The man said and took Roshan into a dimly lit room.
Roshan walked inside with his hair standing out.
This place was a little weird to him
A lady was behind the desk and she looked up at him.
“What do you want sell, sir” She asked Roshan.
Of course anybody that entered the room mostly came her to sell some things.
Roshan carefully dropped the gems on the table.
A machine scanned the items on the item
With her smooth voice, she told the amount to Roshan
“72000 for the nine level 13 gems”
“54000 for the six level 14 gems”
She continued with a smile.
“Your total amount is 126000 credits” she said and smiled at the young boy.
Roshan was totally shocked. He never expected such a huge amount of credits.
He would have been at loss if he had actually sold the gems to the old man.
He quickly regained himself and smiled back at the woman while stretching out his card. The lady merely swiped a flat piece of item over his card before typing a few things.
After the item was swiped over his card.
Immediately his card’s colour changed swiftly into a shimmering gray colour.
Roshan looked at the card and was amazed.
This would be enough for master to survive on till I’m back. He thanked the lady and immediately left.

An old man stood by the door of a house with his eyesight far away.
He had been cured from the poison and this was all thanks to that young boy.
‘If I hadn’t helped him along. I would have been likely dead by now. I hope he wins the tournament’
The old man rubbed his beard as he continued his thought.
He saw the exact person he was talking about coming in this direction and he went into the house and straight to the kitchen.
Roshan banged the door straight into the house
“Damn kid…” the old man grumbled
“I’m sorry. I was just so excited” Roshan said as he walked into the house and sat down.
The old man ignored him and set the food on the table.
They are in silence for a while until Roshan silently slipped an item over to the side of the man.
The old man merely glanced at it before looking away.
He raised his glass to his mouth before abruptly stopping to take another look at item.
He spat out the liquid and went into a coughing fit.
Roshan quietly handed him a napkin before waiting for him to settle down.
“You….Damn kid!! You wanna send me to the grave” The man yelled at the boy whose facial expression showed a slight tinge of laughter.
“Where did you get this, you stole??” The man with his bulging eyes eyed him carefully.
“Of course not!!!” Roshan yelled out. He was getting sick of everyone relating him to some thief.
“I did some trade and don’t ask me anything about the trade” Roshan said as he looked at his food.
Fyi’s mouth drew into a thin line. This kid will be the death of me.
“There’s an amount of money in there that I’m leaving you with till I return. I trust you would manage it till I return” Roshan said but his gaze was still on his food.
“Hmm” the old man nodded and they quietly ate their food in silence.
After clearing the dishes.
Roshan rushed into his room with a single thought.
“Time to see my improvement”
