"What do you mean you drew power from the moon?" Athena asked, clearly confused.
"I mean exactly what I said." Kaliyah murmured. "One second, the wolves were closing in on me, and I felt it was the end. But the next second, I felt this rush of power from within, something I had never felt before."
"Can you describe exactly how it happened?" Soren asked gently.
Kaliyah nodded. "My skin hummed, like it was covered with some strange static energy. At the same moment, a lightning bolt shot down from the sky to the earth, and the next thing I knew, the wolves were dead."
"You know, I do remember feeling that static humming when I found you." Soren murmured.
"Is that all that happened?" Orion asked.
"Yes. I fell unconscious, and when I woke up, I was here."
