Chapter 6

1450 Words
*Lee* Something doesn't feel right. Those girls was quietly grumbling and growling about something disturbing their plans. Come to think of it, Sadie has been gonna for a while now. What if-, my eyes widened at the thought of something happening to her in the bathroom. I speed walked closer to the door. Before I got to the door I heard some talking. "I'm Sadie Travis", I heard as they walked out the door, "and you are-". "Misty!", I said out in surprise. I'd recognize those blue eyes and red hair from anywhere. "Lee?", she seemed just as surprised as me. "You two know each other?", we all asked at the same time. "Yes, we know each other", we replied in union. "Ok, so my name is Misty Orson. How do you know Lee?", she quark a mischievous eyebrow at Sadie and me. "Promoted from football buddy to bodyguard of the sister unit by my brother", she replied. "Oh I thought you two were-". "No! With him/her", we said simultaneously before gagging. "Wow, shouldn't you both be offended by commenting about that way with each other", she questioned. "I don't care about this tweebs comments", I snorted. "And I don't give, and please excuse my language, two s**ts about what anyone calls me because I've probably been called worse first off. Second, I've been trying to get rid this jacka** since I've been in 500 feet from school doors", she retorted back. "I'm not that bad", I scoffed. "Sure. You cheesy, charming hypocrite that only loves to tease or flirt the s**t out of every girl in this continental world", she smiled sweetly. "I think we're going to be great friends because of the hatred of mean girls and flirty boys", Misty laughed before throwing her arm across Sadie's shoulders. I smirked slightly to see her happy with a girl her age for the first time in a while. "Well, we should get to class", I said. "No we need to go to the office", Sadie said sternly. "Why?". "It doesn't involve you", she glared.  "Sadie, don't try-!". "Just stay out of it for once, Lee", Misty sighed in frustration. I looked down to the floor and on the way I saw a bulgy paper towel in Sadie's hand. I slowly reached for it but it was pulled further back. "What are you doing?", a voice growled. I looked up to meet her alight firey amber eyes before glancing to the blue eyes of Misty's and for the first time seeing her reddened face wasn't made by accident. "What went on in that bathroom", I growled meeting Sadie's eyes once more. "Checked off, wrapped up, and shipped off trouble", She replied while a evil smirk stamped across her face. "What?", I questioned confusedly. "We're the these-two-b****es-don't-give-a-s**t-shipping-company", Misty popped off causing Sadie to roll into a laughing before saying, "If you can b***h we can ship it". Both of them was rolling in laughter as we walked down the hallway. The final started to end the laughing fest until both of them started to snort air through them nose then their were off again. It kept going until we was at the end of the hallway because neither of them could breathe let alone talk. "So are you both sure you can make it to the office alright?", I asked looking down at the two crackerjacks still breathing hard. "Yes captain", they saluted. I shook my head and started walking to class. How did these two for so long? *Sadie* I finally finished laughing as Lee started to walk away. "*Mimic Radio sound* Red. Red. Do you copy Red?", I whispered. "*Mimics Radio sound* I read you loud in clear Hazel. Over". "*Mimics radio sound* Our mission is to deliver this article item too headquarters". "Copy that Hazel". We started to sneak down hall laid against walls, crawled under benches, and did a couple summer saults. You're probably thinking what the security guards thought of this. When we passed their office they were dying of laughter. Anyways, we finally arrived into the office and bursted in like FBI agents. I swear Ms. Premen jumped 5 foot out of her desk before flipping out of her chair backwards. Whoops! "Sorry, Ms. Premen", I said rushing over to her to help her back up. "It's fine, dear", she said taking my hand. This poor lady had to deal with my parents in high school and now she's dealing with us. "What in the world is going on here?!", Principal Timothy said barreling out his office. He stared at the papers Ms. Premen was holding scattered all over the room. "Sorry, sir. We got a little carried away with our fun and she scared her", misty said quietly. The 6'1" man towered over the three of us. His black salt/pepper hair was slicked back and his faded emerald green eyes was still sharp as ever. For a man in his early thirties, he was older in exterior than he was. "Aren't you both supposed to be in class?", he sighed out in frustration. "Sir, it was an important reason to bother you so early this morning", I spoke evenly. He seemed surprised by my demeanor, one that was filled with confidence and respect. "Come in then", he waved us to follow him. We walked into his office. It looked the same as in my last life but it doesn't have the same tense and dark aura as when I had to visit before. "Please have a seat", Mr. Timothy said pointing to the seats in front of his large oak desk. We all sat down in union. "So what do I have the pleasure of seeing you both this early in the morning?". "Sir, we have a discretion to settle for the well being of the students in this high school", I said laying the waded, bulky paper towels on the desk," What you're about to hear can be proven by what is inside of these paper towels and on the face of my friend, Misty". He looked at me with amusement. "Before you open the paper towel, please listen to our side of the story and also understand that the item inside hasn't been touched by either of us", Misty said. Pretty amazing how much we act like each other huh? He looked between us with curiosity. "Are you sure you both aren't undercover lawyers", he corked out. We chuckled at him. "I guess you haven't received the call from security yet about two teenagers acting like spies?", I asked with a touch of humor. "That was you?". We nodded in sync. His laughter boomed through out the room. "Don't worry I got to watch it personally". "Well anyways so hears what happened...". Misty explained what happened before I got there and let me tell you I was ready to wring their necks. Then, Misty and I took turns telling every single detail that happened. "Now what is inside of that wade of paper towels of the knife that was thrown towards Misty. It wasn't touched by either of us", I finished off the story. He scooted the clump of paper towels closer to himself and carefully unwrapped it to be met with the large knife. His demeanor was darken as he read the words inscripted on the knife. "Thank you both for coming forward about this. If you would like you can go to a quieter place in the school or just go home with your first day's homework until this matter is sorted out. Both of your guardians will be notified of this matter", He said rising out of his seat. I looked over towards Misty to see her being uncomfortable with staying here. "Would it be ok instead if we stayed at a cafe near by until this matter is settled where we could come back?", I asked while Misty seemed to relax a little by my suggestion. "That is quite alright. I will notify your parents when we settle this matter", he said escorting us to the door. "You will be able to notify any siblings or relatives that also attend here then swing back by here on your way out to get your homework", he said opening the door to let us out. "Alright, thank you Mr. Timothy", Misty and I said. "Your welcome. Ms. Premen, please make sure to have these young ladies homework for the day". "Yes, Mr. Timothy". As we walked out of the office, we sighed in relief. "Now one hell is over with", Misty said relieved. "And another mountain is to concur", I sighed out in exhaustion. The battle of family protectiveness. Uuuggghhh!!!
