They entered the path and journeyed into the dark. The path lighted up and the inscription said
"Welcome to the streets where only love will put you through"
Eric read the inscription and said Magdalene, I guess this is getting insane.
She was up ahead and saw two doors, she sighed and said.
Eric, I need you to do something for me.
What is it?
This place is really tough and with the inscription on the wall, I don't think we need to do this.
It's totally your choice. She said and made to leave towards the exit when she was held back by Eric. He drew her close and held her close to him. she asked.
What are you doing?
Don't you feel me?
Can't you see that I desire you. I could have left at the portal but chose not to because I felt you.

She left his grasp but he pulled her close .
He shifted her hair and cupped her face and said

Magdalene took a deep breath and froze. She couldn't understand the reason she felt the way she did. It was strange and could not be explained.
He kissed her forehead and said
What do you feel? he asked.
He ran his fingers on her hands and she felt stranger then withdrew.
He smiled and got closer and faced her. Slowly, he raised her face until there was no gap between them, he brushed his lips against hers and held her close. She felt care like never before and suddenly he stopped and withdrew.
What is it? she asked.
Look he said.
There was no plant here. It's blooming.
She looked and smiled.
It's the light of our friendship that bloomed.
Oh! look. The doors, they opened.
Yes!!! We are here.
She jumped for joy and proceeded to thank Eric.
There's no need. he came close from behind and pecked her neck and held her waist.
Thank you, she whispered.
