What can it be? he asked. How you can help, but we set out at dawn. she replied. Alright then, he said scratching his head. I will have them serve you and you will retire to sleep for tomorrow is a very long journey. Eric was lost for words to describe Magdalene. it seemed there was something that he couldn't point out, but still felt it. She was pretty, yes but not to think stupidly. I will do as you have said as he interrupted himself from his thoughts. She smiled and signalled the maid and she served him. Eric slept off shortly after his dinner and dreamt dreams he couldn't explain. He saw a territory invaded by a dark force which he had seen earlier from the crystals. The force was in the form of a dark cloud that swept through the place and left lifeless bodies all over the place. Then, he saw a throne similar to the one he had seen earlier but this one was smaller than that one. It had fire on both sides and haggard people served a dark authority which was merciless. It issued orders and thousands matched towards a city he couldn't recognise but it looked like the place he was in and just when he was about to understand where he was he heard a voice. Eric, it's time. He screamed and got up in a haste which startled Magdalene. It seems you had a nightmare. Yes Do you want to talk about it? No, it's nothing. I am fine. I hope you slept well? Sure, I hadn't slept like this before. Thanks to you, she smiled. I will let you have breakfast and join me later, its going to be a long day. She left instructions with her maid and left. Moments later, Eric received a shocking suprise. He got to the exit where he found Magdalene taming a horse which they would use for the journey. Easy boy! easy.Come on now, that's it good boy. She gave the horse an apple are patted it and soon she was on top of the horse. Oh, you are here! climb on. We race for the hills. These horses speed greatly and we'll be there in no time. Eric stood embarrassed but hid it anyway. I can't come with you on that creature. Why? are you scared laughed Magdalene. No, never. It's just that I don't ---- You don't like horses. Never, I love them. Eric defended remembering his sad episode with the wonder horse from when he was a kid. He had gone to the park with his family that Christmas, everyone was jolly and the celebration was just fine. He and Steve had dreamt of riding horses which was Steve's hobby. He often won awards as the best horse rider but never got the attention Eric got because he was even cooler. Everyone had their own horse and had lined up for the race it was a special occasion which held at the city park. At that time, he was confident but as he drew closer the horse, the more beads of perspiration flowed down his face and he nearly wetted the pants. Take your places, everyone, came a voice that belonged to the referee. Eric climbed the horse and hugged it tightly. He managed to mount the horse and was shaking like a leaf in the wind. As soon as the gun went off, Eric's horse raced off leaving him on the ground covered in dirt. People came to his rescue and he was hospitalised for a week because he got hurt badly. Remembering the sad event, he looked up and saw Magdalene laughing. Reading my thoughts again? he said. I guess there's nothing to hide then. Let's go. How are you going to get there since you're scared of horses? I will manage, don't worry. You will do no such thing. Magdalene got down from the horse and ordered a carriage instead. I am sure you won't fall off this time. Thanks. They entered the carriage and sped off. They travelled for hours and for a time it seemed the journey was unending when she said we're here. She alighted the carriage with Eric behind her then he said I can't see anything. It was an empty space to Eric but Magdalene saw alot more. It was the street that leads to the place where lady in glass was. Get ready, we are about to take this path. Be open to it and you will get through. I don't see a thing It's because it's the street of glass.
