I walk Mariah back to her room, giving her a deep kiss, before saying good night.
Then I head up to the Alpha floor. I need to go check on my babies and make sure they are sleeping peacefully.
As I approach the doorway, I can see Abbi and Ava are both in the nursery. Abbi holds a finger up to her mouth, silently instructing me to be quiet as I enter the room.
"James is looking for you." she whispers softly. "And we really need to figure out why you still can't link." she sighs "It's getting to be a huge pain in the butt that we only have limited ways to communicate with you."
"Well, I'm actually glad you couldn't link me tonight." I inform her. "Although, if you recall, I do have that nifty little device called a cell phone. You might want to try calling that sometimes." I
