Breaking The News

When making a choice, Sarah had made her very own and this was that upon an occurance of an event,then definitely a solution had to be found too.
“I must look for him, Bernard needs to know that I am pregnant.” She would say even though was still weak to gather enough courage to face such a beast, after all she was still healing from her fresh wound.
Down the deserted place,which was the outskirts of the Bentalin’s city. Sarah would go all by herself and perhaps a little bit of the river shores would bring memories.
Sitting all by herself,the environment was so silent and the only sounds she would project was that of waters hitting so hard from the anonymous waves.
This would remind her of the good old times when life was always worth a living of how she was referred to as the ‘iron lady' of her good olden days when she was overzealous and fearless especially when standing out for justice.
Sitting alone had just made her fall into a lonely sleep and upon waking up the world appeared so small that she could not stop to help with the fact that she had missed the most important person In her life, Kaila her identical twin sister.
Three hours later, Sarah had understand that the time was now when the move had to be made so she took back the thin road which lead to her boarding a bus and that was how she had started a journey to Mr Bernard's house.
The man was more than popular and it never took time before locating his own prestigious apartment,yet she barely had a place to sleep.
His house was built like an amazing empire and hundreds of workers looked so rich including the ones who were ildle,from the looks of things,it appeared like it was more than a house too since prominent people like prominent Majimbo would leave graciously with wonderful convoy.
Bernard's own position was a senator in the government and judging by how lethal they were,she definitely had to wait outside until he finally showed up.
This was now the time to come out from her hiding place,
“Excuse me sir, remember me?” Sarah said as she watched him open that tilted window from one of his vans.
The man appeared so arrogant in his black shades,
“Bernard, that's the name. Right?”
“What do you want you cheap p********e? Thought I was done with you?”
Sarah would never want to believe that this was what she was told after being wronged.
“Do you know that I have the capabilities of sueing you in a court of law after what happened between the two of us?” She majestically said.
“Sue me!!!” Bernard laughed out sarcastically.
“Darling,look at this person talking.” He said addressing her and by how she appeared,it definitely had to be the wife.
Sarah thought that her involvement would make her understand her better but so disappointed that that was not the case.
“Get out of here you cheap hoe trying to make a clout out of my husband,or I will deal with you by myself!!!” Stephanie,his wife assured her.
Then Sarah would humbly go down on her knees and begged,
“Ma'am,am just a girl from the East.” She began,
“Raised as an orphan,I came to Bentalin so that I could find something to eat since the situation back at home wasn't good. My dreams were to one day make it in life and becomes a successful woman before your husband shattered my dreams into pieces by impregnating me forcefully…”
Stephanie had to stop her by a thunderous slap that lead to her falling on the ground,
“I know my husband and he would never do such a thing,let this be the last time that you come in between us you ass hole!!”
She was already tired of the whole drama and ordered the driver to step on it, however, Stephanie's conscious was somehow shaken.
“Darling,I want you to look me in my eyes and tell me the truth. Did you sleep with that woman?” She asked him but Bernard denied assuring her that she was a poor clout chaser.
“Okay my love,I trust you.” Bernard managed to gain her trust in the end. However,he never liked the way things were going since this was the very first time when Stephanie doubted him,all because of Sarah.
Later that evening, Sarah would go back at the club with thoughts of picking up her belongings when she was grabbed out of nowhere.
The next thing that could be seen was darkness all over!!!
She would then wake up upon realization that she sat on a chair and was all tied unable to move,as if this was not yet enough. She was also nose bleeding and had bruises on her head.
A shadow would be displayed in front of her impersonating Bernard.
“I want this day to remain in you and realize the kind of a person whom you're messing with!!!” It surely was Bernard.
He then removed out a gun from his pocket and pointed towards her now broken face ready to shoot,
Surprisingly enough,Sarah was never shaken and this was just unexplainable.
“What wrong with you? Why are you not shaken?” He frighteningly asked.
“I've got nothing to loose anymore,do whatever it is that the heart pleases!!”
She effortlessly gave that as a reply.
This was nothing usual to all that Bernard had seen in all his life, only the next actions would properly describe what he felt inside at that moment.
