Harrison caught up with Tessa, who was running and crying at the entrance of the neighborhood. “Let go.” Harrison, with much more strength, pulled her back toward the house. “I’m not going back, let go of me.” Harrison’s face was expressionless. “Tessa, we haven’t seen each other in years, and yet you’ve become like this.” Her face flushed deeply at his words. “What do you mean by that? Are you saying I’m not good enough for you now?” Harrison looked down at her exaggerated makeup, frowning. “I used to think you were just a little spoiled, but now I think you’re really brainless.” Tessa’s eyes widened as she quickly wrenched her arm away from his grasp. “You think I don’t know? I know you like Natalie! Yeah, I’m mad at her today, but you can all go ahead and like her, I don’t care!”
