Natalie shoved her phone back into her pocket, feeling a bit annoyed. She arranged the skewers neatly, and just as Harrison returned after helping others, she waved him over. “The skewers are ready. Come and eat.”
Thanks to his help today, they had saved a lot of effort.
Harrison's forehead was covered in sweat. That group of women had deliberately dragged things out, asking the same simple questions over and over. But the moment he saw Natalie, his frustration melted away.
“Here, have a drink,” Harrison said, handing her a bag. “Freshly brewed coffee from the food truck.”
Natalie raised an eyebrow and noticed a chubby little corgi with its tongue out following him. “Where did this one come from?”
“There are some cute animals around here. They even have alpacas and deer.”
