Five of my boardmates including Annie,received a call from Bleu Hyatt Hotel and Suites for the job were applying for.They advised to report tomorrow for their job at exactly 7 in the morning for there will a short briefing about their jobs.
They all eyed at me coz i did'nt received any call yet.
"No,not at all" i shrugged my shoulders with them.
"But why? What went wrong with the
interview that you're not in?" asked Annie.
"It's alright guys,.!.maybe,....hmmnn...i'll try some other hotels tomorrow" i told them a little bit sad.
"Are you sure?I can go with you and resigned with the Bleu"said Luci,short for Lucio.Our ever supportive and lovable gay freind.
"Oh,!.c'mon Lucio don't you dare?" i abruptly object.
"Of course i dare,!!.it's Luci not Lucio my dear By" he pointed out smiling.He knows that im only calling that name of him if im pissed so he's trying to ease the tension between us.
"Less worries,im fine with myself.
Congratulations!!.".i said hugging them.
"Thank you" they've chorus.
After our breakfast together,they dismissed their self for the preparation of their upcoming ojt that would start tomorrow.
I lay on my bed frustrated that i didn't receive any call.I remember our last encounter and i regret my actions towards him.Maybe those are the reason why he didn't accept my application.
I thought about our kissed ,that was my first kiss.It feels so right and till now i can hardly forget the taste of it,
sumptous and sweet.
Maybe he's still angry for the thought of seducing him that's why he didn't hired me.It's frustrating and annoying at the same time,the said job was a big catch.
"Huuuuhhh!." i sighed."Why he can't be professional at work and put his personal life aside" i said talking to myself.What now,?.i thought.
I didn't notice i doze off until my phone rings.
"Hello?" i answered,voice a little hoarse from my nap.
"Is this Ms.Jones?"someone's on the phone asked.
"Yes speaking.!.Whose on the line please?" i replied.
"I just called to informed you that you're in for the job,my assistant forgot to call you so i'm personally telling you now" he said.
"Same as others ,you will report tomorrow for the ojt" he added "Goodbye" and the line cut off all of a sudden.
"Huuuh??!!!"Was it true or am i dreaming? i asked pinching myself."Ooucchhh!!!!.So its true".I smiled at the realization.
I ran outside excitedly and tell my friends the good news.
"Guess what?" i opened to them.
"What?" they've all replied.
"I've got it,im also in" i exclaimed happily."He called me personally to tell me that hes assistant forgot to informed me..,so that means i got the job"i added.
"That's great!!!,Think of it,we're on the same hotel and that means more bonding and chitchat guys" Luci exclaimed happily.
"Bleu Hyatt Hotel and Suites,here we comes" we all shouting happily.
