Sky’s mouth dropped open. The small door slid open and they entered a gilded elevator cab. The gate shut behind them and they were slowly lifted up above. Stopping when it reached the penthouse, the little elevator slid its door open and a Siri-type voice announced, “This is heaven, last stop.”
Sky stepped into a room with the stars above, clouds drifting slowly over and around the four sides of the room. Was it made of glass? Was it outside? The air was fresh and moist, as if fresh dew had just fallen, but it was still only late evening, not even midnight.
