Emily has been working for the Newspaper, for five years. She loves her job; not only did she love her work but, loved going to work, there was something to look forward to everyday. She knew that being a TV reporter would have to wait, but she wouldn’t give up. Still she was a great journalist.            Emily parked on the same spot and went inside. “Hello Emily, how are you today?” It was her boss Mr. Emerson, who was also her adoptive father.             “Hi, boss. I’m fine and how about you?”             “Good,” Mr. Emerson said in a trivial tone.             She went to her desk to check her notes and called Jim, the photographer, who called her last night to tell her he had a story. It seemed like a big thing since he was telling her to return his call “ASAP”.             “Hey, Jim you told me that you have a story,” Emily said while eyeing the note.             “You’ll never believe this! Do you remember the bank robber six months ago? He escaped! Cops are looking for him I think we should write the story,” Jimmy said excited.             “When did this happen?” Emily paused as her memory went through the event.             “Just happened I took pictures, I’ll text you the name and address so you can interview the detective,” Jimmy said.             She was afraid, the last time she’d seen him she was in the bank when he walked in and started threatening everyone, she had been at the wrong place at the wrong time. Or was she? Emily caught everything on camera and he was caught because of that, or better because of her.             Emily sighed, hope he doesn’t remember me. She knew it was wishful thinking, hey I could still wish. “Thanks Jimmy, I’ll call him and see what I can do,” Emily sat up and looked across to the empty chair, from the desk across from her. Where is he? I thought he was on his way.
