Lyra laughed
Her first and only reaction was to stand in front of the frowning Alpha Kai and laugh in his face.
Was it funny? No. But if he thought whoever he had been speaking to was her mother, then he had been surely deceived.
Alpha Kai stared at her, startled by her laugh. "Why are you laughing, Lyra? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you find this situation funny, Luna, I get it. Your mate didn't let you laugh in his pack? You're letting it all out now?" He said.
That sobered her right up. She hated how he always had to have the last laugh in everything.
