Leonardo was busy all day as he was working on a new project. He didn’t return till it was almost ten at night. Mrs. Rossi was worriedly waiting for his son. She wanted her son to take a rest and enjoy his life. But maybe it was not possible as he has a big responsibility on his shoulder. But she couldn’t stop herself from worrying too. When Leo returned, he found his mom sitting in the living room and waiting for him. He smiled and walked toward her and lie on her lap, sighing. “Why are you awake till now?” Leo asked worriedly, and she caress his hair with a gentle smile. “How can I sleep when my son is working there so late? If I retire to my room, I am sure you won’t even have your dinner.” She replied and Leo hummed. Leo has been always picky about food. He doesn’t even touch the food made outside if it was not made by some Michelin-star chef. So, Mrs. Rossi always orders them to make his food and send it to his office during lunch. But whenever he stays late Mrs. Rossi also stays awake and makes sure he has his fill before sleeping. “Mom, I am not a baby. I can take care of myself.” Leo said, sitting up and looking at her annoyed. “You will always be my baby.” She pinched his nose and get up. “Now go and freshen up. I will order the kitchen to serve your food.” She said and started to walk toward the kitchen, but he stopped him. “I will eat on my own. It’s already late. Go back to your room.” Leo said, holding her hand and making her walk with him. “But…” She didn’t want to leave, but Leo was stubborn, too. “No, but. Let’s go.” Leo hugged her shoulder and make her walk toward her room. “Ok, fine.” She accepted his words and let him push her toward her room. “Why do you need to work so hard? Can’t you hire some people to lower your workload? You are the owner of this company.” Mrs. Rossi expressed her dissatisfaction. “I can. But finding some faithful employment is hard. Angelo already helped me with half of my work. But the company is big, and we can’t let an outsider handle the important matter.” Leo replied and Mrs. Rossi nod. “Maybe you can find someone who can be faithful like Angelo.” She said, thinking. “Where will I find someone like Angelo? He has grown up under our wings. Though he is poor, he wound never try to outmatch us. I wanted a secretary, but no one can be like Angelo.” Leo said and Mrs. Rossi sigh. Leo was right. Angelo will always be faithful to them. His family has served the Rossi for generations and he knows the child. He won’t hesitate to lay his life for Leo. Only if there was someone who would be like Angelo. Leo dropped her mom into her room and walked toward his room. When he returned to the dining room, his food was served on the table, but there was no one in his sight. It was odd. Vivian always served his food, but she never leave the kitchen before he could finish the food. Then why he left today? He was confused but still started to eat. He was famished, and after dinner, he has some pending work to finish. He can’t waste his time on servants. But when he was eating, he felt he was not feeling like eating it. Leo has special preferences when it comes to his food, and today the food was too bland. If it would be any other day, he would have left the food or ordered them to make a new dish. But today there was no one he could order. So he thought why not try something on his own? He walked toward the kitchen to bring out the jar of pickles and when he was entering; he noticed a shadow inside. So he was not alone. The person who was responsible for serving his food was just hiding from his sight. “Who the hell made this tasteless food? Only because I am busy they thought it was Ok to serve me this? Maybe I should start punishing them.” He was saying it out loud, and he noticed the shadow move. He wanted to bring out the person. But it looked like the person was not ready to come out even after hearing his threat. “These maids are getting useless. Maybe I should fire them all. Why I will pay them when they can’t make a simple dish?” He said and this time he noticed the shadow move and Isabella come out to stand in front of him. “I am sorry, sir. It’s not their fault. I was the one who reheated the dish.” Isabella replied. He was looking like a scared kitten, and his face was looking so cute. “Don’t you know I eat only freshly made food?” Leo said coldly as a shiver ran down Isabella’s body. “Sorry, sir, I didn’t know.” Isabella was so scared. She was worried he would again become angry if she came in front of him. That’s why she was hiding inside the kitchen. But she didn’t know she would unintentionally make a mistake and this demon would verge inside and interrogate her. She was moving feet to foot as it was feeling like she was standing over an iron. “Where is your mom?” He asked, and she gulped worriedly. “Mom has a fever. That’s why I didn’t want to disturb her. You can tell me. I can make you something quickly.” Isabella offered. Though she was unsure, this demon would appreciate her cooking. “Spaghetti in white sauce with meatballs.” His order came, but Isabella was confused. “Huh?” she asked and he frown. “Do I need to repeat?” He asked, and she shook her head negatively. She couldn’t believe this demon would order her to cook. Though she was happy the dish was simple and she can make it well. “I will do it ASAP.” She said and walked toward the pantry.
