“You know where they are?” I nodded, not willing to say it out loud until we knew for sure who was being her kidnapping. Lucas hadn’t said much, but I had my suspicions. “Let me go with you,” Mason begged. “I need you to put the saddle on me,” I told him. “I don’t trust anyone else to make sure that it’s secured.” Mason frowned and for a moment it looked like he wanted to say more but then he nodded. “I’ll go get it.” I watched him leave before I focused on what needed to be done.
