FREYA I lie in the dark on my back with one hand flat where the baby is and the other on the empty side of the bed beside me. Eli's side, losing track of time but I know it's been a long time. I wanted to go with Max and Eli to the border to help the patrol team but Eli refused. In his words, “"Freya, no. Stay. The boy needs someone here.
