Sara had made a change next to Phase Five: Moving on. Derek read the change aloud, “I do not agree to have you choose my suitors. I shall choose my own suitors. However, I agree to have you screen and vet each one.”
Derek nodded. He looked back through the pages and noticed she made a notation next to the duration of time she was to stay in his residence. Under the introduction section, she added a clause to the six-month agreement which read, “I agree to discuss the potential for a longer commitment, once the term is complete. This occurs if, and only if, both parties agree that an extension would be beneficial.”
Derek smiled and looked up at her. She c****d her head to the side and shrugged her shoulders. He let out a chuckle, took the pen and initialed beside her changes.
