She walked over to the left side of the room where the jail cell had been set up. She had no idea how he pulled all of this off, or how much of this room she would have to wreck. She opened the door and locked herself in. Derek approached her and took away the key, tossing it into the garbage.
“How am I supposed to find a way out, without the key?” she asked. “You are more resourceful than you give yourself credit for, Ms. Hopewell.”
