Falling for a Dream

*Ellie's POV*

My days have been getting better every morning I still wake early to go to the gym but Cas insists my body needs proper rest to perform at its top level. So I now sleep until 4 am. This morning during weight training I bested my dad's max squat weight by 50 pounds, not that he will ever know. He doesn't even bother acknowledging my training anymore other than to tell me the lastest niche workout I have to start after school. This month it's CrossFit. Mom on the other hand is on to her new fad miracle diet for me. First is was "magic wraps" covered in what smelled like off menthol that she slapped on my belly, arms and thighs then wrapped cling wrap over that so tight I couldn't move before shoving me in the private sauna she had put in to help me "sweat off the inches". When her miracle wraps and disgusting green drink didn't work she moved on to some pink drink that tasted good at least and like 4 different pills. I dropped a whole 20 pounds before that one stopped being of any help and I am pretty sure that has something to do with the fact it kept me up half of the night on the toilet! Now it's Tea bombs that she calls names based of TV and movie characters based on the colors she layers in it. They taste ok but I doubt they are helping with me stubborn belly fat.

Cas walks in as I finish my last rep and let's out a low whistle. "I am going to have to tell Dad our Gamma has some competition!" "Oh no no no don't tell, please!" I rush to say. "Ok, ok. Calm down Ellie." he says as he tosses me a bottle of water and a towel. "So what's on the schedule for today boss?" I ask Cas as I drain half the bottle of water. "I am thinking we work on grappling." He says with a smirk. "That's grappling not groping ya big goof." I say smacking his chest with the towel. Cas is 6'2 with Auburn hair cropped short on the sides with a little lenth on top, sapphire blue eyes, and a dusting of freckles, "Toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe" he laughs.

After he shows me several different holds and how to break them, we get in the center of the mat and take our stances. We tussle a bit before he tries to get me in a head lock, I drop to the mat to get leverage the second he drops and tries to adjust his grip, I grab his wrist use the height difference to flip him over my body and deftly wrap my thighs around his shoulders cross my ankles over his far arm holding it to the ground as I pin the wrist I have in my hands against my chest and lean back. he starts tapping the mat and from the shadows I hear clapping. I gasp as I look over to see green eyes boring into mine.

"Cas I believe you just got your ass handed to you by a girl." Jensen chuckles. I release Cas as Jensen comes over and offers his hand. I instead jump up from the ground without assistance and he raises his brow at me. "Ellie do mind if I steal my future Beta? You two can play grab ass later." My eyes flared with indignation, I turned on my heel and stomped out only stopping at the bleachers to grab my headphones, phone, and bag.

How dare he say that we were training. Like anyone as gorgeous as Cas would ever be interested in me. I head home hop through the shower and get dressed in a pair of black jeans with strategic rips all over, my combat boots, a black shirt with a kawaii kitten on it eating a bowl of ramen. I grabbed the Iron spider hulk or whatever the heck this red and blue concoction mom left me was called. I stopped at the door and grabbed my favorite hoodie. It's a limited edition hoodie from my favorite artist/streamer. Throw my headphones on and turn on my playlist. The deep voice rumbles through my headphones and I push away the bad as I walk to school.

It's fifth period and so far my day has gone smoothly. I have a free period and most days you find me here, in my safe place surrounded by books. I head to the back of the library to the fantasy section. I am on the 6th book in a series about a man who seeks truth above all else and the woman he loves who can make even her worst enemy love her so thoroughly with one touch they would die for her. Plus....there are dragons. "Ah! there it is." I think to myself and right as I go to grab it a pale had grabs my wrist turning me to face him. I gasp startled, "Cas why are you sneaking around the library scaring me!" I whisper yell at him.

"No need to whisper the librarian left for the day, no new book for you." he laughed.

"Jokes on you, I am her aid and can check it out myself." I responded sticking out my tongue.

His eyes flash with something I didn't recognize before he continued, "Anyways I was looking for you I was wondering if you were busy Saturday?"

Huh? Saturday I wonder why? Maybe because training got cut short today. "No not particularly, I was just going to read after morning work outs. maybe go for a hike. Why what's up?" I replied.

"Well Saturday night I have a party I have to go to, but I was wondering if You wanted to go up to the waterfall for a picnic? We could hangout, maybe swim?" He asked as he stepped closer causing me to step back against the bookshelf.

"S-sure," I stammered clearing my throat. "Sounds like fun" I smiled shyly at him.

"Cool." he said capturing a loose strand of hair between his fingers tucking it behind my ear. "Until then." he said with a smirk. Walking away with a cocky swagger.

**Jensen's POV**

I awoke early as usual and headed down to the ranked wolf gym to work out, Dad was having our private gym on the Alpha floor of the pack house remodeled so for the last week I had been going to the ranked wolf gym.

I walked in and there she was the first day I got there as she ran on the treadmill headphones on so she didn't hear me slip in. I peaked at her phone screen curious what she was listening to that had her pushing this hard this early. I noted the artist and song so I could look it up later. she started lowering the speed on the treadmill, finished with her run. Quickly I slipped back in the shadows I didn't really feel like talking to anyone so I figured I would just hide until she was gone. This particular girl couldn't have much left in her, or so I thought. I was wrong she worked out with an intensity of a a life long body builder. I was awestruck watching her. As I watched her yes she has some fat but not flab. I noticed her body is tight, there is muscle tone you can see if you watch her workout. It's like the Goddess gave her a cloud to drape her body in so she is strong but still soft. Muscular but shapely. I realized when Cas, my Beta, entered that she would be doing her training here not out with everyone else. Silently I slipped out. I followed this routine all week until Friday I finally decided I would stay and watch her training despite how tight my pants already were from watching her ass as she did squats with more weight than our current Gamma who I have learned is her father. I thought he only had one child, the snooty bimbo that moved to another pack a few years ago. Cas and Ellie's banter annoyed me and I wasn't sure why. Why did I feel so possessive of her, me who has been watching her like some low life peeping Tom for the whole week. Cas was being flirty, Ellie didn't seem to notice though. The hunger that flashed in his eyes when he put her in the choke hold pulling her body flush again his. He was enjoying being pressed against her too much. When she flipped him I almost lost it so I started clapping when she locked her hold in. walking out from the shadows staring into her uniquely beautiful eyes. Hazel I believe the call them brown fading to green one eye was half brown half green while the other was nearly solid green with flecks of brown.

"Cas I believe you just got your ass handed to you by a girl" I chuckle as I reach out my hand to help her up. "Ellie do you mind if I still my future Beta? You two can play grab ass later." Her eyes flared exactly what I thought she wasn't flirting. Only him. She stomped out much to my dismay and delight. I hated to chase her away but my did I love watching her go.

"What's up?" Cas said pulling my attention back. "Oh yeah can you help me go over a few last minute changes to the guest list of my birthday party tomorrow? I didn't know Ellie was the Gamma's daughter we better add her too." I said.

"Oh absolutely not man the whole reason she has private training is because Sherry and the others bully her constantly." he said.

Later that day I slipped into the library hiding in the small alcove behind the fantasy section, the very last row, skipping calculus. Goddess why does an Alpha need calculus? As I sat there I thought back to what I have been thinking every morning as I watched Ellie, is the Alpha male persona I have grown up being taught and expected to exude....is that, is that really what an Alpha male is? Is being a d**k to people who don't deserve it and Alpha trait or just a douche trait? A small gasp brought me out of my thoughts I stood up an peeked through the crack above the books, standing there on the other side was my best friend and the goddess I have been silently worshipping every morning.

"Cas why are you sneaking around the library scaring me!" Ellie whisper yelled at him.

"No need to whisper the librarian left for the day, no new book for you." he laughed.

I had to hold back a growl. What is he doing? That's his go to one night stand move it's romantic up there he takes a girl up there to bang them and then never speaks to them again. I shot him a quick text "We need to talk."

Later that evening I met Cas in my room to play some CoD and talk.

"Hey what's the deal with Ellie man? What's your game?" I asked.

"To be honest brother I just felt bad for her at first but having her pressed against me as we tousle in training. f**k man I have never been a chubby chaser but I gotta bang her." he admitted with a chuckle.

"What the hell? You pulled her into training bc people pick on her and what now you just think she will be so grateful she'll just jump on your d**k?" I shouted sickened by my life long friend.

"I mean have you seen me? She's luck I am going to let her have a ride." he c****d his eyebrow and flexed.

I saw red my Alpha voice came out for the first time, "You will not touch that girl, you will not say one word to her ever again. Leave Ellie be." I ordered.

He bared his neck to me while looking at the ground "Yes, Alpha."

I kicked him out of my room unable to look at him anymore I was so angry.
