Chapter Five, Summer

As the leaves started to come back, so did Jacob he had to go back to work after Christmas and it was just me with a big house. It seemed as everything went slower when he was gone. But I soon heard that door bell ring once more. DING DONG DING DONG!

This time I ran to the door ready to jump into my man’s arms, except it wasn’t Jacob. It was the damn UPS driver. Uh hi ma’am could you sign this for me please? I kindly take the tablet and sign. But was disappointed it wasn’t Jacob.

I need something to take my mind off the feeling of not having Jacob with me. So I booked a spa day for the weekend. Lucky it was Friday so I wasn’t waiting to long. As I wake up I hope in the shower then get ready for the spa, I was very excited for some very much needed relaxation. I’m laying on the table getting my back massage and I feel a slight kiss, then another. I quickly stand up to be face to face with Jacob.

Hey baby girl I saw you were here wanted to join the fun. I think it’s time I take you home. My eyes said everything because my mouth couldn’t. It was busy kissing him. I got dressed and we headed home. But this time Jacob was home for awhile ! We could actually start our lives together.

We moved to Florida with a beautiful home, he’s golden retriever never stopped getting out of the pool. He’s son Cameron that was 6 loved Disney World. There years after dating we were married I was a Colin. Two years later I had twins, we have a big beautiful family and couldn’t be happier.
