IT WAS ALL A LIE

CHAPTER THREE

Fours years later

After I gave birth to my baby who I named Davion, everything seems to change for the better, I got a job as an assistant, and thanks to my excellent work performance I gradually made my way to Vice President and thanks to that I was able to meet all the needs of my son.

I woke up today to my son kissing my cheeks

"mummy baby wants a hug" he cutely says, as he opens his arms and I immediately carry him and pull him in for the hug

"so how was my baby's night?"

"it was nice, but don't forget you promised that we were traveling today," he says excitedly

Oh, I also forgot to mention that during these four years, I reconciled with my family and I got to know that Edwin got married to Daniella because apparently, she was pregnant for him, and I told them that I would be spending the summer with them and nope they don't know I have a kid but hey what better time to tell them than now right? And to make things better I can work both at home and cross country meaning I can work to keep myself busy.

"don't worry I haven't forgotten, how about you go take a bath and change then we can take aunt malie before leaving or would you want me to help you," I asked and he shook his cute little head

"no I am a big boy so I will do it myself" he then folded his arms and pouted making me chuckle

"ok big boy"

After he left I went to do my morning routine before packing and checking our bags, then I went downstairs to make breakfast.

The flight was at 9 which means I had two hours to do whatever I wanted so I made pancakes with honey for the three of us

I finished setting out the table when Malie and Davion came downstairs and sat down

"right on time" Malie announces as she sat down before she continued talking

"so have you told you to know who about you know what?" she asked making straight eye contact with me while Davion is focused on eating

"no, and you know who doesn't need to know also let's not talk about it in front of the kid," I said annoyed, Malie always tried to see the good in others and I guess that's why we hit it off but she keeps trying to convince me that I should tell Edwin that bastard that my baby is his, knowing him, he would probably try to take him away from me and that will never happen as long as I am alive. After I said that she slowly nodded and we are the remaining breakfast in peace with me feeding Davion and her giving me the face

We finish packing our stuff and made our way to the airport where my dad sent a private jet to get us

"woah you never told me your parents were rich rich" Malie exclaimed while I just rolled my eyes and got in

"it's nice to see you again madam Sasha," our pilot said and I turned and smiled at him and said

"you too Bob hope you've been well"

"mummy who is this?" Davion ask and Bob gave me a confused look

"This is the man who would take us to grandma's house so say hi," I told him then faced Bob

"Hello, Mr. It's nice to meet you" he then gave Bob a big hug making me, and Malie smile

Halfway through the flight, Davion fell asleep, he look so much like Edwin that I prayed Edwim doesn't see it the mere thought of that Bastard claiming my child makes me sick

We arrived at the mansion in the evening and went in to find that my parents throw a surprise party for me

"Surprise" they shouted as I walked in but I made the shhh sound and pointed at the baby who was currently on my arm, they all looked at me confused but nodded and made way for me, I placed him on the bed before heading back to the party room and gave them a hug

"I missed all of you," I said as I hugged my two bothers

"missed you too cupcake" Samion replied as he stroked my hair, damn I missed this

"oh my poor baby how have you been?" dad asked as he brought me in for another hug

"dad I am not a baby and I have been perfectly fine, I got a job and can take care of myself plus I made a very good friend," I said and pointed to Malie who just stood there awkwardly

"oh so you are Malie, we heard so much about you welcome" my mum then pulled her in for a bone-crushing hug while I laughed seeing her whisper for help

"ok enough, you must be hungry let's go eat" my dad announced and we all went to the dining room

While eating Davion ran up to me and I carried him and sat him on my lap

"mummy I woke up and couldn't find you?" he sadly pouted

"oh my baby I thought you were tired so I didn't want to wake you up, now don't be sad give mommy a kiss" I replied and he smiled brightly before kissing me on the cheek

"umm mommy who are all these people and where are grandma and grandpa," he asked looking at the people on the table who gave me a confused look

"mummy? Sasha do you mind explaining what's happening" Jamien asked

"This is my son Davion and Davion this is your uncle Jamien, your grandma and grandpa, and over there," I said pointing to my mom and dad

He excitedly got down from me and rushed to my mom and dad before making grabby hands to them

"aww you're so cute" my mom coed as she picked him up

"yes he is" my dad smiled

"so are you going to tell us who the father is or is he..." Samion started but I cut him off

"I don't know who the father is" I lied and they gave me a suspicious look before pretending as if nothing happened

"anyways why didn't you tell us you were a mom" everyone turned to look at me

"Because I wanted to surprise you, surprise," I said and chuckled

"mummy said that we would go to your huge office tomorrow," Davion said out of nowhere

"Sure I am sure that you will like it there" Jamien chuckled

We spent the remaining evening reminiscing before going to sleep, I and Malie slept in the same room

"so you aren't going to tell anyone who the father of Davion is?" she asked as got into bed

"he doesn't need a dad when he has me besides I can take care of him on my own, I replied and went to sleep.
