2. Cheating on her

Krystie hurriedly walked to the stairs, she was feeling so stupid for everything that had happened, she didn't want to think of what had happened, of course, she could vividly remember everything that had happened last night.

Krystie could clearly remember how she had ended up on a stranger's bed, it was only because of her stupidity, which had resulted in her losing her one most precious thing and dignity, but good thing she didn't regret, at least she had given her first night to a stranger than that jerk who had played her, and as if to worsen the situation he had played her with her friend, best friend, Cassandra.

[Flashback]

Krystie was feeling super excited to go and see her fiancee, it had been a long time since she had seen him. She had always been so busy with several shifts at work that she had not gotten any time to go and hang out with him, and since she was already done with all the shifts after she had overworked herself and pilled several shifts to get time to hang out with him.

She had intentionally not informed him that she would be going over to see him, she wanted to surprise him but who knew that she would be the one to be surprised instead?

Alex had given Krystie the spare key to his house so obviously she had permission to go in and out of his premises as she wished, but it came as a shock to her when she found the door open, that had never happened before, but she didn't overthink it as she pushed the door open, but there was one thing strange that caught her attention, there was an unfamiliar scent in the room, one that she was not used to in his house, but she thought it was quite familiar to her.

Krystie had walked into the house, excitement evident in her eyes, but there was no one in the living room so she thought that probably he was upstairs, so silently made sure she didn't make any sound as she took the steps, but as she approached the door she could hear some noise coming from his room, but not for once did it occur to her those sounds are from what she had thought of.

Proceeding on without thinking twice Krystie had opened the door gently making sure she was gentle enough not to be heard.

"Surprise!"

Krystie had spoken as she walked into the room but the sight before her was the one that was a surprise to her, on the bed there were two figures, completely naked, with her best friend, Cassandra on top of Alex, riding him.

It was only after Krystie had spoken did the two people immediately stopped in action and stared at her with shocked faces, obviously they had not expected to see her here, not at such a time because normally she would always be doing several rounds around the ward to make sure her patient are okay.

"Krystie, what are you doing, aren't you supposed to be at work, didn't you say that you were held up for the day and that you won't be home until late at night!" Cassandra spoke as sweat trickled down her face, she was sweating, obviously embarrassed to have been found out.

It then occurred to Krystie that of late Cassandra has been asking about her whereabouts almost daily, but not once did it occur to Krystie of her intentions, she had just thought that maybe she was worried about her, initially she had not given much a thought but thinking about it at the moment, everything made sense to her, she just wanted to check of her whereabouts so that she could have her plans get done.

Krystie was not sure whether she was supposed to laugh or cry hearing her best friend ask her such a stupid question, wasn't she the one who was supposed to ask her what she was doing in her fiancee's house, and worst of all why she was riding on him when she knew very well that they were already engaged, and even their wedding had already been announced.

"Baby, please listen to me, it's not what you think it is, please let me explain!" Alex had spoken up after pushing Cassandra aside and jumped completely naked as he was to where Krystie was.

Krystie had felt so disgusted with him, and more when Alex had gone ahead and hugged her, the s*x scent filled the air making her much more disgusted with him, Krystie felt that Alex was such a fool thinking that even after she had found him in action she was still going to listen to him.

Krystie had immediately pushed Alex away, she was feeling hurt, not sure whether she should cry or not at such a moment, she had loved him more than any other person, and even though her twin sister had warned her about Alex, Krystie hadn't heeded to her at all but had gone ahead blindly and got engaged with him, yet here she was, not sure of what she was supposed to feel.

Alex had not given up on Krystie yet, and just as Krystie turned around to leave the room Alex had grabbed her hand, and in a spur of a moment Krystie had turned around, not even an emotion on her face, she had maintained a straight face as she lifted her palm and slapped Alex across the face, and just like that she left running down the stairs.

Alex was left behind standing watching her disappearing silhouette, he too was not sure what he was supposed to feel after he had been found out, he had mixed emotions on whether to follow her or not.

Krystie had run down the stairs, initially had put a strong face before Alex not wanting to show him how hurt she was when she had faced his betrayal earlier on, but just after she had exited his door tears started streaming down her cheeks, and she had run to her parked car, ignited the engine and sped off home, she was not sure how she reached her house at all because she was crying all the while as she was driving.

Krystie was lucky to have found her twin sister Chloe at home, seems she had not gone to work for the day, and the only thing that Krystie could do was hug her sister as she cried, and Chloe kept on consoling her, caressing her back as she too cried with her until they both had fallen asleep next to each other, with both having teary eyes.

The girls are normally each other's pillars in times of distress, and normally it is always Krystie who is always consoling her sister because of the two of them it is always Krystie who is the eldest strongest, but seeing her crying for the man broke Chloe's heart.

Chloe thought maybe she should teach that douchebag a lesson so that he would know Krystie has someone beside her and she should not be messed with.
