I did not know how to react. I did not know what to say. I did not know where to go.
I wanted to fight with them. I wanted to know who my real parents were. I wanted to ask them why they would hand me over to someone else, I wanted to question them, I wanted to cry, I wanted to shout and yell and just scream out my lungs but I decided to stay quiet. I decided not to say anything.
I let things go normally because I was thankful to them. The pain I went into after that could not be expressed, but I didn’t even know what to say. I was only thankful for these people who kept me like their own daughter.
They gave me all the happiness, they let me pursue everything without questioning, and what did I do?
