I hear my phone ding with a notification. I looked at it to see it was a message from my mate. Today is Friday, so everyone is on their own for dinner, which gives me the chance to have the kitchen for myself later. I look at my messages and smile.
Tristan: Hi beautiful. Sorry to write so late. I’ve been swamped with work both at the office and at the pack. I can’t wait to see you tonight.
Me: Hey handsome. I know what you mean about work. I can’t wait to see you either.
Tristan: What time should I be by?
Me: How about six?
