Ace and I stared at each other in disbelief. It was kind of annoying how deeply he seemed to be entrenched in our lives. Why couldn't he just stay in the past? It was one thing that I tried to get Ace to forget their issues in the past so we could build a better future for ourselves. Now that he was back with this bullshit, there was no way he was going to forget it. It was only going to motivate him to get his revenge.
