I thought about ignoring her, but I knew that wouldn't fly the same way Ace thought ignoring her would make her come to her senses.
She was even more impatient than before because she giggled and said. "What, you're too chicken to defend a position you claim to deserve?"
"I don't have to fight to establish my worth, Anita." I rebutted, but she only laughed.
