Ace and Karla seemed to have it all together, but that was far from the truth. They were at their wits' end with the reincarnation thing. The one silver lining to them was that they were at least one step ahead of the other players. They knew what was going on so they could quickly get ahead.
The flaw in their plan was that they still didn't know who Malia was. It was beginning to look like Malia was not as close as Arnaud suggested.
