KARLA'S POV
"What do you mean she lost her pregnancy?" Ace was the first to recover from the news. I broke down in soft sobs because I kind of already had a feeling from the way I bled that it was going to lead to a miscarriage. But the confirmation was still painful.
"Um, like I said, she miscarried..."
"All of a sudden? Just out of the blue? Are you sure you know what you're talking about?" Ace fumed.
"Please calm down, Alpha. Of course, it wasn't out of the blue. She must have been cramping. It's a symptom. When she called me to..." The doctor suddenly realized that he had said too much, but it was too late, and I clocked the exact time that Ace processed what the doctor said.
"You called him in for cramping?"
"Yes, Ace, but it was nothing. It was not..." I looked at the doctor
