Karla was drawing away from me. It was as if this was a dance, and I was spinning her away from me just so I could draw her back to me tighter. Except in our case, spinning her made her stay away even further. I didn't like the situation one bit, but there was nothing I could do about it. Not presently, at least. I was swamped with work and planning her initiation ceremony.
This was the first of its kind in Rogue pack, and I was determined to make it as grand and memorable as it could get. I wanted every member of my pack to know that it was an honor for them to have Karla as their Luna.
