It was as if Jupiter Invictus himself set on his horse at the head of the slow moving entourage of horsemen and wagons. Through a c***k in the low hanging clouds a shaft of bright sunlight lanced through the dull, early gray morning gloom and bathed Tiberius Caesar in a magical aura of shimmering gold. Jupiter InvictusTiberius, atop a black mare of magnificent lines, encased in the armor of a Roman general and a red cape draped over his shoulders, looked every inch the conquering Roman emperor. He was in a good mood today. Laughing and joking with his officers riding just behind him, the wind running through his cropped dark hair carelessly, a quick smile often creasing his lips like the s***h of a swift sword stroke. But all was a sham. A show of bravado. A planned theatrical exhibition.
