When Grace got back to Concordia Court, she held a brief informal conference with the team to see if there were any updates but there was nothing substantially new. Emma returned to her assigned duty, scanning CCTV footage alongside Danny, hoping that these images might obliterate those still lurking in the back of her mind.
Back in her own office, Grace found a letter on her desk from the Criminal Cases Review Commission. The letter instructed West Garside police to submit preliminary information relative to the murders of Donald and Janet Jarrett and the case against David Jarrett, to include but not limited to relevant files and most importantly, the Policy File. If further information were required, due notice would be given.
