"I don't want to believe this is true." I stagger beside the door, holding it for support. With one hand covering my mouth and the other gripping the door, I hold back my tears that threatens to fall. Manager Kim shakes his head, his eyes soften at me and he looks rather disappointed in the whole situation. He leaves his seat, points in my direction as he makes his way to where I am standing. Slowly, he pulls me close, our bodies press against each other and I burst into a loud cry. I clutch his shirt, slap my hand against it as I bawl my eyes out but yet, he remains calm and hugs me in my own despair.
"You will be fine, Anna. Go talk to Patrick and set the records straight. Anderson is a huge part of your family and you might want to use wisdom in dealing with that beast."
