I went back to my room in a bad mood. I actually intended to go down for a drink of water, but when I went down, I saw someone doing something in the kitchen with only one dim light on. I asked because if it were a thief, they wouldn't turn on the light. But once I realized who it was, I lost the mood to drink water immediately.
And then there was that clumsy and irritating sight again, which made me walk back to my room without having a drink.
Ding ding, a message notification on my phone caught my attention, and when I picked it up and saw the message, it lifted my mood a little.
Minnie: Are you asleep yet?
Minnie: It's lonely without you, P'Phe.
Phetai: I'm about to sleep.
Minnie: I miss you so much, P'Phe.
Phetai: I miss you too, Min.
