Meghan became filled with so many thoughts because of that ring she saw, she couldn't concentrate on anything, so she decided to call her girlfriend Isabella, and tell her everything that has been going on in her life lately. She grabbed her phone and dialed her number, which was saved as ‘Isa’, when that one picked up, the excitement she had could be heard on the other side of the phone.

“Hey Meghan, how are you, why are you calling me this early?”

They both started laughing as Meghan replied “I am doing fine, Isa, but you cannot believe what has been happening to me”

“What? Tell me”, Isabella said, her voice full of curiosity.

“Remember Benjamin?, Meghan said.

“Benjamin the rich guy? Isabella responded.

“Yes, the one I told you who has been supporting me ever since my parents passed away”, Meghan quickly replied.

“Of course I know him, but tell me before curiosity kills me though”, Isabella said.

Meghan laughing, said, “Girl, yesterday, he invited me to spend a day with him. I don't know all the details of that day but he has bought me expensive clothes, bags, accessories, shoes, a necklace and many fancy things”

Isabella, interrupting her, said, “You are a lucky young woman, I wish I could be in your place”.

“Wait, I am not done,” Meghan said. “He also sent a ring along with everything, wrapped in a small box package and the ring is so beautiful, Isa, I cannot begin to tell you”, she added.

“Oh, my God, is he going to propose to you?” Isabella started asking her questions. “I cannot wait to hear what is going to happen on that day”, Isabella added, and they both started laughing.

“You can relate to how I am feeling, right? I cannot wait as well”. Meghan said and they both kept on laughing.

Their conversation went on for a while and they agreed that Meghan would call her immediately after that day was over. Then they hang up.

As soon as she hung up the call, she realized she had received a text message from Benjamin. She quickly opened it and saw:

“Meghan, I hope you are doing fine today and still as beautiful as usual? I will pick you up tomorrow morning, at your place. Looking forward to seeing you beautiful, Benjamin”

As Meghan was reading the text message, her adrenaline went up because she did not think it was tomorrow that they were going to spend the day together but she was happy.

That day she woke up with so much energy and went into the shower early so that Benjamin would come to pick her up when she was done.

Her house was filled with warmth as she listened to jazz music in the morning as usual.

In the middle of the day, the bell rang and her stomach became hard, she started feeling anxious. She put on high heels and looked at herself in the mirror, wearing a splendid red, gold dress that Benjamin had offered her for the occasion.

“I really look classy and beautiful,” she thought.

She went for the door and as she saw Benjamin, she smiled.

Benjamin Harper couldn’t easily smile but she seemed to ignore his seriousness, rather she grabbed a bouquet of roses that were in his hands, smelled them and said “Mhm, Benjamin, thank you, they are smelling nice”, with that she leaned forward and said hi to him with a hug.

Benjamin, still looking at her with a serious face, realized how beautiful she looked in that dress, so he let out a smile and grabbed her hand to kiss it.

“Meghan, you look magnificent, and I am privileged to be with you, I will make today unforgettable” he said.

Benjamin looked at his watch and said: “let's go, a lot awaits us today”.

That statement triggered Meghan's mind as she was trying to imagine where and what they were going to do today, and while she was still thinking about that, a very fancy black limousine packed in front of her house and they had to go out of the house to get inside the car. When Meghan entered, she was surprised by how the interior looked like a luxurious apartment, and by how Benjamin’s perfume was strongly scented to overtake the whole.

He served her a glass of champagne and got one for himself as the car engine started.

“Where are we going?” Meghan asked.

“Somewhere that we can get time to relax and talk, I want to discuss an important matter with you. But you will like it” Benjamin responded.

Meghan knew that Benjamin didn't like being questioned so she kept quiet and took a sip on her glass of champagne but her mind kept bringing the same question into her thoughts “What is the ring for?”

After like an hour of driving, they arrived. Benjamin got out of the limousine first and opened for her. When Meghan got out of the car, she realized they were on a small beach that she knew and there were cruise boats all around, so Benjamin kept her in his arms and they walked towards one of the boats, there were many bodyguards and severe security on that particular one but Meghan was not paying much attention instead she was smiling.

As soon as they got inside, she saw a door marked VVIP guests which they headed to and entered, only to see a beautiful view on the outside of the boat. There were tables with food, drinks and everything they needed for a getaway. The captain of the board came to them and said: “Welcome on board'', they said thank you to and he continued with: “we are going to sail now, so be cautious of the wind but nevertheless do not worry the weather is good. And, have a good time”.

When the boat started sailing, Benjamin took Meghan in his hands and kneeled in front of her and said: “Will you accept to be mine forever?”

Meghan, caught by the surprise, was about to talk when Benjamin got up and kissed her lips passionately.
