"Pity," I say softly, the matchmaker's gleam sparkling in my eyes.
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing at all. Would you like some tea?" I say quickly, ringing for a maid. I have been nagging Zac to settle down for years now, and in Freya Moonshadow, I have found my most promising possibility for success.
Freya is strikingly attractive, obviously intelligent, and a genuinely nice person. And most importantly for anyone who is about to get paired up with Zac, she is very, very brave. I decide I couldn't have dreamed up a better sister-in-law. Freya's sharp tongue will serve her well, too. Zac needs a she-wolf who won't scurry to do his bidding every time he starts acting in his domineering manner, which, I have to admit, is most of the time.
