Zeus shook his head, his lips twitching in amusement as he watched his fiancée dissolve into another fit of laughter. Ceres was laughing so hard that she had to collapse onto the massive bed of the private suite they had booked at the Vineyard. Her laughter filled the room, unapologetic, unrestrained, beautiful. “Oh my gosh!” she gasped between laughs, wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes. “My stomach hurts.” Zeus lay down beside her, turning on his side to face her fully, his eyes watching her closely.
