ELARA’S POV Eyes were on us as we danced, Theron slowly turning me around the dancefloor. Everyone moved out of our way when we neared them, eyes focused on us. Humans and Lycans concentrated on one main event. Theron and I danced. It was the first time we’d been seen so close in public. Yes, we held hands, but that wasn’t nearly as intimate as how close Theron held me to him now, my mark on my neck blazing with heat. It is not a painful heat but intense nonetheless. I closed my eyes, focusing on his feel against me—the hard muscle of his shoulders and the scent of a cologne I couldn’t name. I was comfortable. Was I becoming happy?
