Jane bit her lips so much,that the soft flesh started bleeding.

"Look at me" Ryan commanded . Jane turned towards him with a broad smile that made her lips to almost touch her temple .

"Hi. President Ryan Jason. My name is Jane zablonski. I will be your new secretary. Please let me know if you need anything. I will have my seat now." Jane sat down avoiding any eye contact with Ryan. She had messed up as always. She felt embarrassed and also satisfied.

"Hi. I hope we get along very well.". Ryan was about to walk back to his office and he turned back.

"What is the problem sir ". Jane leaned forward on her desk. "Give me your phone number and your WeChat number. At night I will ask mr. Ronald to send you my work schedule for the week. Make sure you review it. It is possible that you get the book itself before the end of the week. Also, get your lips treated.". Ryan walked back to his office and slammed the door.

"How can he say so much words at once? I thought he was the quiet type. Also, I didn't know he was the type to care about his employees." Jane threw a popcorn into her mouth and focused on the horror movie she was watching. Her phone rang and on the screen she saw the caller I.D, bestie. She cleared her throat and picked up the call.

"Hi. How was work today? I already miss you." The caller on the other side of the line said with a tiny voice. "Work was not fine lily. I messed up. I was cursing at the c.e.o without realizing that he is behind me. Oh jeez, I was so embarrassed. But it turned out he.....". Jane was cut off by lily. "Stop. I want the full gist when I am back. Also, I heard that the c.e.o is a really handsome man. I am sure you will be so good at describing him. You have been so good at describing people. " one could obviously hear the smile in her voice. "Okay. When are you coming back from London?". Jane turned up the volume of the movie. "This weekend. Jane?" "Yeah?". "Enoch called me, he said you didn't come to the cinema you promised to go with him. ". Jane sighed and cleared her throat again. " I told Jay Jay to tell him I am sorry for standing him up. I just resumed work lily. I told him I was going to be busy today, but he insisted. So, I told him I would meet him at the cinema. I had to go through a lot of things. Also, the c.e.o is new. I just got home. I don't plan on standing him up.". Jane threw another popcorn in her mouth and increased the volume again. "Okay. Just make sure you call him when you have the time. What is that eerie sound from the background?" Lily was asking with so much curiosity. "I am watching this newly released horror movie. I didn't expect it to be this fun. The title is 'The day is darker.' I will advice you to watch it. The day can be scary at times. ". Jane wasn't the type to get horrified over a fictional movie. "Oh Jane. You will end up becoming a psychopath if you watch too much of horror movies. You are a lady for crying out loud, you should be more feminine." Lily sounded as though she was frustrated. "Lily, I am so feminine. Watching horror movies those not make me less feminine. I am off to bed. I have a lot to do tomorrow." Jane cut off the phone and sighed . Lily was the type to lecture with her tiny voice like a mother will do. She was more disturbing than a mother, lecturing you and following you all along to make sure you are listening.

Jane was looking at the notepad in her hands. "Mr. Jason,I booked an appointment with mr. Maxwell. And it is about time we went our way." Jane had already used a month at the company and she had blended in so much. "Let's go to my house. I would like to change my clothes. Also,can you reschedule the meeting I have with the manager of A.C.G company? I have somewhere to be at that time." Ryan said,while picking up his car key and handed it over to Jane. "I will check through it sir. Also, the manager of A.C.G company is mr. matthews. You have to remember their names, so that the meeting can go well." Jane said, and followed him to the car. "You are driving me home. Since the both of us are going to mr. Maxwell together." Ryan entered the car and gestured for her to step inside the driver seat. "I understand sir."

"Sir. You were invited to a welcome party of Mrs Humbard. The lead artist by 27th of September. I heard France also sent some of their representatives to be present at the party. I was called and informed about an hour ago. Jane was staring at his expressionless face through the head mirror. "If you think it is necessary then, let's get ready soon. Just three days left." Ryan's attention was still sternly focused on the book he was reading. "It is important. I will reschedule the schedule for that day." Jane was driving and looking straight forward. "You should also get a dress I will need someone to accompany me to the event." "Understood sir. " "I will ask mr. Ronald to prepare a dress for you." Ryan raised his head when Jane parked the car." The G.P.S states that we have arrived at our destination. Jane unbuckled her seat belt and stepped out of the car. Ryan also stepped out of the car and opened the gate for her to get into the hotel.

" WTF". That was all Jane could say silently.
