Chapter 6: Bigfoot Is a Loner!
The first draft came easier than Wilson had expected, considering the need to delicately handle his characterization of Ida. The story was a mix of general background from Marvin, Emma’s convincing testimony, and a cautionary tale of the dangers of Bigfoot obsession centered around Harold’s disastrous path, and ending with some leading questions wondering what had really happened that fateful day. He could fill in more later, after his hike, with his impressions of the forest.
He cast a longing glance at the clawfoot tub. The draft might have come relatively easy, but it had still taken too long for him to enjoy a soak before his rendezvous with Oliver. Or maybe he’d put too much priority on sleeping in this morning.
He closed the laptop and swapped it out
