Chapter 4: Bigfoot Is a Murdering Bastard!
After a peaceful drive north, through some lovely scenic areas, it was with great reluctance that Wilson knocked on Harold Clayton’s door. Yes, the man had paid his debt to society, and yes, Wilson did accept that there’d been no malicious intent on Harold’s part, but Ida Wallace seemed more real to him now that he’d met and spoken with loved ones she’d left behind. So facing Harold left an extra bitter taste in Wilson’s mouth.
It wasn’t much of a surprise that the balding man wearing horned-rim glasses over keen brown eyes didn’t appear to be any more thrilled to see Wilson when he opened the door. Harold had pre-agreed to the interview, though, so apparently he wanted his side of the story told, too.
