Sophia's POV
I woke up to sunlight streaming through the curtains and a pounding in my head that felt like a jackhammer against my skull.
My whole body ached with every muscle screamed in protest. My throat was raw, my eyes swollen I tried to move but pain shot through me making me gasp.
"She's awake!"
Diana's voice cut through the haze.
I blinked trying to focus she was there, sitting beside my bed her face streaked with tears.
"Mom?"
"Sophia!" She threw her arms around me, sobbing into my hair. "Oh my GodSophia. You're awake, you’re okay."
I stiffened in her embrace as memories flooded back like a tidal wave.
The bar.
