Lyria did not know at what point she fell asleep. But she knew that she felt warm. When she opened her eyes, the streaks of light from the cave opening almost blinded her. But before she could raise her hand to block the sunlight, something that looked like a membrane had blocked the light from her eyes. She noticed that it was the same membrane that had covered her body while she was sleeping. Even though the membrane was not covering her again, she still felt warm. Especially, her back felt warm. It took her a couple of blinks to realize two things. One, the membrane was one of Arkan’s wings. Two, she had been sleeping next to Arkan’s body.
