Chapter Four
Chevy pulled up at a red light and a black van skidded to a halt before her. Her eyes nearly leaped out of her head and her mouth dropped open when the vehicle’s sliding door was flung open. Two masked up niggaz, holding choppas, approached her car, the business end of them thangs pointed right at her. Her heart was beating so fast that she thought that it was going to jump out of her chest. Chevy released the steering wheel and lifted her trembling hands, palms showing dampness. She closed her eyes and peeled them back open having swallowed the extra spit in her throat.
