Faith ”Steady Faith.” Ashers hands were firm on my hips as my foot slipped off the wet rocks. We had been walking for hours , only taking brief breaks to stand a sip at the water and eat some of the food on our backs. My feet were agony. And it didn’t matter how carefully I was I was slipping all over the place. My boots had soaked through hours ago. The salt spray stung my face but we kept moving. Miles leading with Sebastian following close behind him. Asher brought up the rear, so I was protected front and back by them. And I knew they would die for me if it came to it. The path was narrow, barely big enough for one person to walk along . The stones it was made from uneven rocks, that threatened to either make you fall screaming into the waves on either side or cut you to ribbon
