Flirting

Viv and I sit somewhere in the middle of the class, our usual spot for science. And just when I think I don't have to deal with James right now, he comes in with his friends as the teacher begins his lecture.

James POV

'Sit down Mr Leonard, Alpha.'

'Good morning sir!' Shouts Zach. I mentally facepalm at this.

'It is afternoon Beta Leonard'

'Oh'

'Yes oh now sit down.' Zach harrumphs and sits down at the first seat he finds whilst I make my way to the back. Turning to the front of the class absent mindedly, my wolf starts to make his ay out at the sight of Zach heavy duty flirting with my mate. I'm going to have a few words with him.

Adri POV

'Hey, sweets' I almost roll my eyes at his lame attempt to get attention. 'Playing hard to get, huh.' Viv is snickering beside me. 'It isn't the only thing that's hard - and thick.' He continues.

'Yea, I agree.' He smiles widely at my response.

'My beds free tonight?'

'Your head, idiot.'

'Hey, that's mean,' Viv is covering her mouth now trying to muffle her giggles. I swivel to face the board, pulling my book out to take some notes. Eyes are burning into the back of my head, I know exactly who it is and have to resist the urge to turn my head and stare back. Seems like my dear mate is rather annoyed with his beat's attempt to flirt with me. Ignoring me one second and kissing me the next, my wolf hasn't come out since he left me yesterday. I had almost fainted with the pain in my chest that night. The rejection of a mate hurts you physically.

*Knock knock knock* I almost jump out of my seat. Glancing at my watch I can see that it isn't the end of class yet and there are still two minutes left. Huh. Mr Longstaff, I think his name walks in with an abundance of papers in his hands. Our science teacher helps him put the papers on his desk, a quick glance at the papers wipes the confused look off his face and stands to the side letting Mr Longstaff explain why he's here.
