I woke to an empty bed. Nick was nowhere to be seen. I looked over at a table yes like a full-size table. The room was gigantic like my whole little cabin could fit in there. On the table was a beautiful white rose arrangement. I see the card sticking out. I wrap the bed sheet around me, walk to the table and read it. ‘My beautiful Queen. I will be downstairs with our boy when you wake. See you soon. Love Nick.’
