Jerome made his way through the streets and finally arrived the market where he had promised to meet Oliver, he stood there for a little while before Oliver appeared from the corner of the opposite streets.
“Sorry I'm late, I had to run some errands for my mother” he said as he got closer to Jerome. “you know how parents can be……. what the hell happened to your face” he almost screamed, placing his hand on Jerome’s face accessing his bruises.
“It’s nothing, something happened at the mines” he said not wanting to explain.
“Oh my goodness, is this all my fault? I'm sorry for keeping you so late” he apologised
“It's not, I just got taught a lesson that I don’t have the right to speak, I should have remained quiet, well it's a long story” he said with a sad face.
