Inner Weeps of Sirus

231 Words
Maroukka thought: I couldn't get a job after my college, I couldn't get peace after my marriage, I couldn't earn or save a penny for my wife or children, I am sick. How can I die? I can't die by leaving my poor Tanvi and little children alone in misery. I'll never go. If I died, it would ruin my beloved ones. I'll never go...never... He calmed his wife. He told her that he would not leave her. He told her not to tell these things to his children. The doctor had made a blunder. His words were not true, but absolute rubbishness. Tanvi told him not to think about these things very much. I am with you. I'm sure that my beloved God will not separate us. God can do miracles. I believe in such miracles. We should hope for the best future. Sirus kept silent after hearing all this. He knew that none could cure Maroukka or prevent his death. Sirus had to suffer the pain alone. But he knew that he was the only person who should support Maroukka and Tanvi in this tough situation. So, he determined to pretend boldness. Sirus asked the doctor when they could leave the hospital. The doctor said that they could leave anytime because there was no use in staying in the hospital. He had written some pain reliever injections and medicines.
