Kanba's Revenge

Kanba became very cruel as she got older. She planned to take revenge on Maroukka and Tanvi. She screwed Ram and urged him to write his will without giving a penny to Maroukka. Ram executed the will without informing his sons or daughters.

Akriti and Akash were studying in school. Out of them, Akriti was superb and intelligent in her studies. Akash would study only if persuaded by his father, Maroukka.

One day, Maroukka accidentally found the will. He read the will and understood that Ram and Kanba made him, Tanvi and children homeless refugees. He cried aloud and never expected such a big cheating from his parents. All were lost out of jealousy of his mother towards Tanvi. He kept quiet and told Tanvi why they felt disappointment in life everywhere they went. He began to think about all things adversely. Maroukka asked Ram and Kanba about the will. They kept quiet for a while. After some time, Ram asked Maroukka, "Why did you leave your old parents and go to Tanvi's home? "

Maroukka replied, "Because you didn't consider Tanvi as this family member, but always considered her as your slave. She had suffered for years for bringing no dowry. You behaved in such a cruel manner to her. We have gone here to get some peace in our lives."

Maroukka cursed the wrong attitude prevalence in society against women. Tanvi thought that such a situation should not be faced by Akriti. She would have to get a good education and allow her to marry only after getting employed.
