WARNING: This story may contain words like don't choked me daddy that are not suitable for young audiences. Haha, isn't that always how it goes? The bigger the warning sign, the more tempting it is to jump right in! "Please... I just want my baby back!" I stood outside the towering entrance of the luxury hotel, sobbing as I begged the wall of security guards barring my path. I couldn't get a single step inside. Dozens of guards stood in formation, perfectly positioned as if they had known all along that I would come. "Caleb! Give me back my son!" I screamed toward the top floors of the hotel—the very place where this entire nightmare had started. I had been standing out here in the heat for nearly two hours under the sharp, unblinking glares of his security team. Tears streamed uncontrollably down my face, blurring my vision. Then, the heavy glass doors glided open. Out walked the man himself—the arrogant, unhinged billionaire who cared about nothing in this world except his own selfish desires: Caleb Jayce Cornwell. "Give him back, Caleb... Please, I just want to see him," I pleaded, my voice breaking. "He is my son too, Lauren!" Caleb shouted back, his voice raw with a mixture of anger and pain. "You hid him from me for years! Do you have any idea how much I starved for a single glimpse of you? I gave up everything for you, Lauren. Everything!" "Because I didn't want that life!" I cried out, overwhelmed by the crushing weight of everything falling apart at once. "You're manipulative! And your father—" "You should have told me that sooner!" Caleb cut me off, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Everything could have been different! For seven years, I was completely miserable without you!" Wait... is he actually about to cry? "I don't owe you any explanations," I said, fighting to keep my voice steady through my sobs. "I just want my son, Caleb." He looked at me one last time, a dark, dangerous resolve settling in his eyes. "And I want you back, Lauren. Come back to me first." Without another word, he turned his back on me and walked away, leaving me completely alone in the cold.
